Unconventional "Legal" Trade
I was out of garlic. So, yesterday I cooked up some of the tomatoes and green beans from the garden with some illegal store bought garlic and took it to my Mom's house. I shared the green beans, tomatoe dish with her and my sister and in turn Mom gave me some lovely garlic from her garden. I'm back in business!

I don't think that is legal! You still used store bought garlic!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh - they are not in on the challenge - you silly! They can eat store bought stuff. I was sharing green beans and tomatoes in exchange for the garlic. tisk
ReplyDeleteOh I get it! Totally legal!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I did the very same thing, now that you set the precedent. I met some new very nice friends this past weekend, the Hopkins. Hopkinses? Anyways I took them a few jars of jelly made from the grapes you gave me in trade for wheat. Before leaving Peter gave me some garlic from his garden. I'm totally using it in some tomato sauce I am cooking up (not that I have any lack of garlic, but my stock is all frozen.)
