I yielded a quart+1/2 pint of stock from the crock pot. I then picked through the remains. I discarded the bones, put the turnips and the little bits of meat I had previously missed in a separate bowl, and returned all the fatty and grisly bits to the stove to simmer. Im hoping I can rend some pure fat out doing this. Also pictured are the organs. Kidneys, liver, and a bit of meaty flesh were present but no heart ;(

Not much fat there, I just yielded a bit of gravy-like substance. It tasted quite savory. I put it in with the small jar of broth. I plan to make some noodles and soup tomorrow!
