Lunch, Day 1
Applesauce, salad consisting of lettuce, carrots, and wine-pickled radishes with a apricot-wine dressing, green beans, and veggie patties (as made by Sharon.)
I added a few soybeans to my plate. My wife only ate a few bites of her food, I can see her interest is waning. I am going to have to work extra-hard to keep her into it! I made her an egg, which had a double-yoke.
We hope you enjoy our blog about 3 challenges we embarked upon to experience eating from the past. We grew our own food, hunted, gathered and preserved while trying to avoid modern day conveniences and temptation. It was challenging and rewarding! Stay tuned for updates!
